I am bringing a few prayer requests to your attention:
Pray for our nation overall…. our leaders, “the issues”, etc.
Pray for our youth centers (there influence is unknown, but for the most part is REALLY positive).
Pray for all the people who visit IVM, the ones seen, and especially, the ones unseen.
and… I need some prayer too, my life is going through a lot of snags lately and it is a really confusing, awkward time… unlike any I have ever experienced… I had to take two years off from college and am just fresh into my second year of it. Paramore will be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight performing their new hit song “Decode” from the Twilight soundtrack. Jimmy Kimmel is on ABC and on at 12:00am.
Blood and Ink Records have signed the band “Yours For Mine“. Read the full press release below. This band is surprisingly good, at least in my opinion anyway.
Well I went to my P.O. Box and two of the cds I received were from the metal label OPEN GRAVE. They were Elgibbor “Repent or Perish”, and Once Dead “Visions of Hell”. Both are some pretty intense metal releases. I’ll be sending them to our reviewer this next week. Once Dead is freakin’ awesome and features former members of Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, The Crucified, Fasedown. Check both of these bands out, you might find some new true metal to call your own.
The Almost have posted “Awful Direction”, a new song from their “No Gift To Bring” EP, which apparently will be out next Monday 11/24 instead of Tuesday.
It took me awhile but I found my way back here after the site being down… and I come back with a review! Check it out here, hot off the presses! Who couldn’t use a little Haste the Day? I’m still not fully experienced in this sort of music so my score may seem a bit high but that’s not as important as content anyhow.
Gwen Stacy is going on The Life I Tour with Our Last Night, Vanna and In Fear And Faith in January and February of next year. Then in March they`re heading to Europe with Poison The Well and 36 Crazyfists. Click below for tour dates and press release.
Destroy The Runner just finished shooting their video for the song Isabella`s and will release it soon. Also, they`ll be posting up dates next week for their European tour which happens this January.

About this time last year, I talked quite a bit about Rocky Mount, NC band Crimson Refuge. The songs on their myspace were rough, but showed a heck of a lot of potential. I just recently checked back up with them, and they have gotten a LOT better. Do them a favor and go check out the three new songs on their myspace.
